Arthur the King

A 2024 adventure film directed by Simon Cellan Jones, based on true events. The story follows Michael Lindnord (Mark Wahlberg), the captain of an adventure racing team preparing for his final competition in the Dominican Republic. During the grueling 700-kilometer race through jungles and mountains, the team faces extreme challenges, including trekking, rock climbing, cycling, and kayaking. Along the way, they encounter a stray dog they name Arthur. Against all odds, Arthur follows them, becoming their loyal companion. This unexpected bond changes Michael’s life and the lives of his teammates forever.
