Berserk

An anime adaptation of Kentaro Miura’s manga, Berserk follows the journey of Guts (Nobutoshi Canna), a formidable warrior who has known only battle since his youth. He joins the Band of the Hawk, a mercenary group led by the charismatic and ambitious Griffith (Toshiyuki Morikawa), who dreams of ruling his own kingdom. Guts quickly rises through the ranks, forming deep yet complicated relationships with Griffith and the fierce warrior Casca (Yuko Miyamura). However, Griffith’s ambitions lead to a tragic downfall when he makes a pact with dark forces, forever altering the fates of those around him. The story is filled with brutal combat, deep philosophical themes of fate and free will, and an overwhelming sense of tragedy that lingers long after the final episode.
