Far Cry 5

A first-person shooter with an open world developed by Ubisoft Montreal, taking players to the fictional Hope County, Montana, which has fallen under the control of the fanatical religious cult "Eden’s Gate." Players assume the role of a nameless deputy sheriff tasked with taking down the cult’s leader, Joseph Seed, and his followers. The open world allows free exploration of forests, mountains, rivers, and farms, while completing missions, battling enemies, taming animals, and recruiting allies. A major addition to the gameplay is cooperative multiplayer, allowing two players to experience the campaign together. For the first time in the series, character customization is available, along with nonlinear progression, enabling players to decide the order in which to eliminate key antagonists. Far Cry 5 was praised for its dynamic gameplay, freedom of choice, and immersive world. The game was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
