Kingdom Come: Deliverance

An open-world role-playing game set in 15th-century Bohemia. The player takes on the role of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, whose village is destroyed in the midst of war. Losing his family, he becomes entangled in a conflict between rulers and embarks on a journey of revenge and justice. The developers focused on historical accuracy: there is no magic or fantasy, and the combat system is based on real medieval sword-fighting techniques. Dialogue, social interactions, and character maintenance—such as sleeping, eating, and wearing clean clothes—play a crucial role. With its nonlinear story, player-driven decisions, and vast open world, the game became one of the most notable RPGs of its time.
