Metal: Hellsinger

A rhythm-based first-person shooter developed by The Outsiders and released in 2022. The game combines fast-paced gameplay reminiscent of DOOM with a musical mechanic where players must shoot, dodge, and attack in sync with heavy metal music. The protagonist, The Unknown, seeks revenge against The Red Judge for stealing her voice. As players progress, they battle through demonic realms, annihilating hordes of enemies to powerful tracks featuring vocals from renowned metal artists such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and Matt Heafy (Trivium). Successfully hitting in time with the music increases damage multipliers and amplifies the instrumental layers, creating an immersive rhythmic combat experience.
