British-Lebanese singer, songwriter, producer, and actor, born on August 18, 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon. At the age of one, his family was evacuated due to the civil war, relocating first to Cyprus, then Paris, and finally settling in London when he was nine. Displaying musical talent from an early age, he trained in piano and vocals. In 2006, he released his debut single "Relax, Take It Easy," followed by the 2007 album "Life in Cartoon Motion," which sold over 8.3 million copies worldwide and earned him the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act, as well as a Grammy nomination. The single "Grace Kelly" topped the UK charts. Subsequent albums include "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" (2009), "The Origin of Love" (2012), "No Place in Heaven" (2015), "My Name Is Michael Holbrook" (2019), and "Que ta tête fleurisse toujours" (2023), his first album entirely in French. Mika is renowned for his distinctive style, blending pop, glam pop, and power pop elements, along with vibrant stage performances. He has also been involved in television, serving as a judge on Italy's "X Factor" and France's "The Voice," and co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022.
