No Country for Old Men

A 2007 American crime thriller directed by the Coen brothers, based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy. The story is set in 1980 Texas, where war veteran Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) stumbles upon a suitcase containing two million dollars at the scene of a drug cartel shootout. Taking the money, he finds himself in a deadly game of cat and mouse, pursued by relentless hitman Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), who methodically tracks him down. Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), an aging lawman, observes the violence and reflects on how much the world has changed.
