Perfect Stranger

A 2007 American neo-noir psychological thriller about journalist Rowena Price (Halle Berry) investigating a sex scandal involving a senator. After the story is shut down due to a lack of sources, Rowena encounters her childhood friend Grace Clayton, who seeks help in exposing wealthy advertising magnate Harrison Hill (Bruce Willis) with whom she had an affair. When Grace is found dead, Rowena suspects Hill and, with the help of her friend and researcher Miles Haley (Giovanni Ribisi), goes undercover at his advertising agency under an alias. Flirting with Hill both online and in real life, Rowena doesn't realize that the online Hill is actually Miles, who is secretly obsessed with her. The film explores themes of betrayal, deception, and hidden motives, leading the audience through a maze of intrigue and unexpected twists, culminating in a shocking revelation of the true killer.
