Random Hearts

The 1999 American romantic drama directed by Sydney Pollack is based on the novel of the same name by Warren Adler. The story follows Washington D.C. police sergeant William "Dutch" Van Den Broeck (Harrison Ford), an Internal Affairs officer, and Congresswoman Kay Chandler (Kristin Scott Thomas), who is running for re-election. As Dutch investigates the circumstances of the tragedy, he discovers that his wife boarded the flight under an assumed name, leading him to suspect infidelity. Kay also learns of a possible affair between her husband and Peyton. Together, Dutch and Kay delve into the mystery, confronting the betrayal and reevaluating their lives.
