Red Comrades 5: End Game

A video game developed by the Russian studio Saturn Plus and published by Buka on October 7, 2004, for Windows, it is the fifth installment in the humorous point-and-click adventure series featuring Petka and Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev. The story begins with Petka and Chapaev waking up in the basement of the village Gadyukino, unaware of how they got there. Upon emerging, they find the village occupied by bandits led by Batka Filin, with the residents in despair. The heroes discover a secret exit from the village and, overcoming numerous obstacles, contact the Center, receiving a mission to meet with Kotovsky and the armored train "Daiosh" at the Peregarovka station. Along the way, they rescue Anka, an observer agent of the "Red Project," from Filin's captivity and head to the station on an airplane, which crashes. Despite this, they continue searching for the armored train, facing various challenges and trials. During the events, Petka finds himself in an alternate reality, encountering his and Chapaev's doppelgängers, leading to the realization of their participation in the "Red Project" experiment. In the finale, Kotovsky offers Petka a conservation and rejuvenation operation, claiming that Vasily Ivanovich has already agreed, and Petka is compelled to accept the offer. The gameplay is a classic point-and-click adventure, allowing control of three characters—Petka, Chapaev, and Anka—each possessing unique abilities. The game features numerous puzzles, interactions with characters and objects, and is rich in satire and parodies of Soviet and contemporary culture.
