Rogue Legacy 2

The sequel to the popular roguelike Metroidvania platformer, developed by Cellar Door Games, expands on the original's concepts with new mechanics, character classes, and enhanced visuals. Players once again explore procedurally generated locations, battling enemies and gathering resources, but the inheritance system has been deepened: heirs now possess not only unique traits but also distinct playstyles based on their chosen class. The combat system is more dynamic, featuring new abilities, acrobatic movements, and attack combinations. The visual style has shifted to a detailed 2.5D animation while maintaining the bright and expressive charm of the original. Rogue Legacy 2 offers nonlinear character progression, an extensive castle upgrade system, and challenging boss fights.
