Serious Sam 3: BFE

A first-person shooter and a prequel to Serious Sam: The First Encounter, developed by Croteam. The game is set in the 22nd century, during humanity’s final stand against Mental’s army. Players take on the role of Sam "Serious" Stone, traveling to Egypt to uncover ancient artifacts that may hold the key to victory. Unlike previous installments, Serious Sam 3: BFE blends classic arcade-style action with elements of modern game design, including melee combat mechanics, destructible environments, and enhanced animations. The game retains the series’ signature style with massive enemy hordes, expansive open arenas, and a powerful arsenal of weapons, including classic shotguns, miniguns, and laser guns. A cooperative mode allows players to tackle the campaign with friends, while multiplayer modes add even more chaotic action. Serious Sam 3: BFE was praised for its intense gameplay but also faced some criticism for incorporating realistic elements that slightly slowed down its pace.
