The Devil You Know

The 2013 American mystery thriller directed by James Oakley and written by Alex Michaelides delves into the intricate dynamics between a mother and daughter set against a backdrop of past secrets and present ambitions. The story centers on Kathryn Vale (Lena Olin), a former movie star who withdrew from the limelight following the unsolved murder of her husband, Max Pierce (Stephen Gevedon).
