The Twits

A British children's novel published in 1980, The Twits by Roald Dahl is a satirical story about a nasty married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Twit. They are rude, mean-spirited, and take pleasure in playing cruel pranks on each other and those around them. Their favorite pastime is tormenting animals, particularly a poor family of monkeys they keep in a cage and force to stand upside down.
