Blanka Lipińska wrote the trilogy whose first novel this 2020 Polish erotic thriller adapts. At its center is Laura Biel (Anna-Maria Sieklucka), a young woman from Warsaw stuck in a troubled relationship. During a trip to Sicily, she is kidnapped by Don Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone), the head of the Sicilian mafia who recently survived an assassination attempt. Massimo holds Laura captive and gives her 365 days to fall in love with him. Initially, Laura resists, but gradually a passionate relationship develops between them. The film explores themes of abduction, Stockholm syndrome, and complex emotional bonds, blending elements of erotica and drama.
