A first-person shooter developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, Battlefield 4 is the sequel to Battlefield 3, offering large-scale battles with an emphasis on tactics, destructible environments, and realistic physics. The single-player campaign follows a group of American soldiers trying to prevent a global conflict involving the U.S., China, and Russia, but the primary focus is on the multiplayer mode. The game features expansive maps, various vehicles including tanks, helicopters, and naval units, as well as the "Levolution" system, which dynamically changes battles by allowing players to destroy buildings and trigger weather effects. Multiplayer modes include classic "Conquest," "Breakthrough," "Team Deathmatch," and unique objective-based scenarios. With enhanced graphics and refined shooting mechanics, Battlefield 4 became one of the most popular titles in the series despite technical issues at launch. The game is available on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
