The 2002 American documentary film directed by John Watkin serves as a tribute to the women who have portrayed Bond girls in the iconic James Bond franchise. Hosted and produced by actress Maryam d'Abo, known for her role as Kara Milovy in "The Living Daylights" (1987), the film features interviews with actresses who played Bond girls from the inaugural film "Dr. No" (1962) through to "Die Another Day" (2002), including Ursula Andress, Honor Blackman, Jill St. John, Jane Seymour, Maud Adams, Lois Chiles, Carey Lowell, Michelle Yeoh, Judi Dench, Samantha Bond, Rosamund Pike, and Halle Berry. Through archival footage and candid conversations, the documentary explores the evolution of the Bond girl archetype—from a decorative companion to an independent and assertive heroine. Released in November 2002 alongside "Die Another Day," the film was later reissued in 2006 and 2012 with updated interviews, incorporating actresses from "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace," and "Skyfall."
