Catch-22

A 2019 American satirical miniseries based on Joseph Heller's novel of the same name. The plot follows Captain John Yossarian (Christopher Abbott), a U.S. Army Air Forces B-25 bombardier during World War II, who tries to maintain his sanity amidst the chaos and absurdity of military bureaucracy. Confronted with "Catch-22," which states that a pilot's wish to avoid dangerous missions is evidence of sanity and thus makes him ineligible for relief from duty, Yossarian seeks ways to escape the madness of war. The series also stars Kyle Chandler, Hugh Laurie, and George Clooney, who served as an executive producer and director for the project.
