The final entry in the Tiberium series and a real-time strategy game that concludes the long-standing conflict between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod. Set in 2077, the world faces imminent destruction due to the uncontrolled spread of Tiberium. In this dire situation, GDI and Nod form an uneasy truce, and Kane proposes a radical solution. The game introduces a new gameplay system based on mobile command centers (Crawlers), replacing traditional base-building. Players choose one of three classes (Offense, Defense, Support), which determines their available units and playstyle. The campaign features both factions, while the multiplayer mode offers cooperative missions and 5v5 team battles. However, the drastic shift from classic RTS mechanics and the removal of base construction led to a mixed reception from fans. Despite its cinematic storytelling and attempt to conclude Kane’s saga, Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight received mixed reviews due to its simplified gameplay, reduced strategic depth, and mandatory online connection.
