Creed II

A 2018 sports drama and the sequel to Creed, as well as the eighth installment in the Rocky franchise. Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) is at the height of his career—he becomes the heavyweight champion of the world, builds a family with Bianca (Tessa Thompson), and enjoys the mentorship of Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone). However, his world is shaken when he is challenged by Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren)—the man who killed his father, Apollo Creed, in the ring 30 years ago. Under immense pressure from the public and his own emotions, Adonis accepts the fight but soon realizes that the battle is about much more than just boxing. As he struggles with his past and the expectations placed upon him, Rocky faces his own fears and history tied to the legendary rivalry. The film explores themes of legacy, forgiveness, and the internal struggle to carve one's own path.
