Darkness of Man

A 2024 American action film directed by James Cullen Bressack. The plot centers on Russell Hatch (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a former Interpol agent who witnessed the death of his informant during a botched raid. Two years later, plagued by guilt, Hatch fulfills a promise made to the deceased by caring for his son, Jayden (Emerson Min), who lives with his grandfather, Mr. Kim (Ji Yong Lee), in Los Angeles's Koreatown. Jayden's uncle, Dae Hyun (Peter Jae), involved with local gangs, draws his nephew into the criminal underworld. The escalating gang war threatens the lives of Jayden and his family. Hatch, confronting his inner demons, decides to protect the boy and his loved ones at all costs, facing ruthless gangs. Throughout the events, he encounters various characters, including Claire (Kristanna Loken), Chris (Spencer Breslin), Yates (Sticky Fingaz), and Vivian (Shannen Doherty).
