Detective Knight: Redemption​

A 2022 American Christmas action film, serving as the second installment in the Detective Knight film series. Directed by Edward John Drake, who co-wrote the screenplay with Corey Large, the film stars Bruce Willis as Detective James Knight and Paul Johansson as Ricky Conlan. The plot unfolds following the events of the first film, with Detective James Knight imprisoned for the murders of Winna and Brigga. During the Christmas season, a jailbreak occurs, orchestrated by fanatic Ricky Conlan, known as "The Christmas Bomber," and his group, "The Real Saints of Christmas." Conlan and his followers begin terrorizing the city with a series of bombings and attacks aimed at protesting the commercialization of Christmas. Knight strikes a deal with the authorities: in exchange for his release and reinstatement, he must stop the terrorists. Utilizing his detective skills and connections, Knight tracks Conlan, uncovering his motives and plans. Throughout the investigation, he encounters former allies and new adversaries, including Detective Eric Fitzgerald (Lochlyn Munro) and Detective Godwin Sango (Jimmy Jean-Louis). The film combines intense action sequences, drama, and thriller elements, exploring themes of redemption, justice, and the protagonist's personal demons.
