Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The fourth main installment in the Dragon Age role-playing game series, developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The story continues from Dragon Age: Inquisition, focusing on a character named Rook, who aims to prevent the elven trickster god Solas from destroying the world by tearing down the Veil that separates the physical realm from the spirit world. In the process, Rook inadvertently frees two other amoral elven gods who seek to conquer Thedas. Players must assemble a team of seven companions, each with unique backstories and abilities, to confront these new threats. Gameplay combines dynamic combat with the ability to chain attacks and utilize companion skills for powerful combos. The game received positive reviews for its deep character development, engaging narrative, and strategic combat system. In March 2025, it became available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
