Driving Miss Daisy

An American comedy-drama from 1989, directed by Bruce Beresford and written by Alfred Uhry, based on his 1987 play of the same name. The story spans from the late 1940s to the early 1970s in Atlanta, Georgia, and follows the evolving relationship between elderly Jewish widow Daisy Werthan (Jessica Tandy) and her African-American chauffeur Hoke Colburn (Morgan Freeman).
