Educating Rita

The 1983 British comedy-drama directed by Lewis Gilbert, with a screenplay by Willy Russell based on his 1980 stage play, tells the story of Susan, a 26-year-old hairdresser from Liverpool who prefers to be called Rita (Julie Walters).
