A sequel to the RPG ELEX, developed by Piranha Bytes and released in 2022. The game is set in the post-apocalyptic world of Magalan, blending elements of science fiction and fantasy. Players once again take on the role of Jax, who must unite the fractured factions against a new threat—the mysterious Skyands, an invading alien race. The gameplay features a vast open world, character progression freedom, a faction system, and an improved combat experience, including enhanced jetpack mechanics. As with previous titles by Piranha Bytes, the game emphasizes a non-linear story, player choices, and meaningful consequences.
