Gothic 3

An open-world role-playing game released in 2006, continuing the story of the Nameless Hero. Unlike its predecessors, Gothic 3 significantly expands the game world, allowing players to explore the entire continent of Myrtana, which is engulfed in war between orcs and humans. The player must determine the kingdom’s fate by interacting with various factions, including the rebels, orcish conquerors, assassins of Varant, and the Nordmarians. The game features a reworked combat system, the ability to wield two-handed weapons and magic, and an improved reputation system that influences quest availability and NPC interactions. Despite technical issues at launch, Gothic 3 offers a vast world, a nonlinear storyline, and unparalleled freedom, making it one of the most ambitious RPGs of its time.
