EVE Online

An Icelandic video game developed in 2003 by CCP Games for Windows and macOS. It is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in a sci-fi universe, allowing players to pilot their own spaceships across the vast galaxy of New Eden. EVE Online has no predefined storyline, focusing instead on player-driven interactions, trade, diplomacy, corporate warfare, and exploration. The in-game economy is entirely controlled by players, while its political landscape is shaped by alliances and corporations engaging in large-scale conflicts or strategic partnerships. The game is famous for its epic space battles, sometimes involving thousands of players simultaneously. Additionally, EVE Online offers activities such as resource mining, piracy, industrial manufacturing, and reconnaissance, making it one of the deepest and most complex MMORPGs ever created. Initially subscription-based, the game later adopted a hybrid free-to-play model with premium account options.
