Fallout 76

Fallout 76 is a multiplayer open-world role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and released in 2018. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the state of West Virginia, taking place 25 years after a nuclear war, making it the earliest entry in the Fallout series' timeline. Players take on the role of a Vault 76 dweller, part of one of the first groups of survivors tasked with repopulating the devastated world. The gameplay features exploration, base building, crafting, combat against mutants and other players, and completing various quests. Unlike previous installments, the game initially lacked NPCs, with quests being delivered through terminals, notes, and robots. However, with the Wastelanders update in 2020, fully voiced NPCs and dialogue-driven quests were introduced. Fallout 76's world is dynamically affected by a nuclear strike system, allowing players to temporarily alter regions and spawn tougher enemies. The game received mixed reviews due to technical issues at launch but has since been improved through significant updates.
