A first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, Far Cry Vengeance is a reworked version of Far Cry Instincts: Evolution featuring updated controls, graphics, and additional missions. Players once again take on the role of Jack Carver, who finds himself in a new conflict on a tropical island following previous events. The game's standout feature is its use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, allowing for interactive aiming, shooting, and melee attacks. It also retains the "feral" abilities mechanic, giving Jack enhanced physical capabilities for survival and combat. While the game maintains some nonlinear paths, its level design feels more constrained compared to its predecessors. Far Cry Vengeance received mixed reviews due to technical issues, outdated graphics, and weak enemy AI, though it offered a unique experience thanks to its motion-controlled gameplay on the Wii.
