The 2012 American romantic comedy-drama, directed by Jonathan Lisecki, follows Jenn (Jenn Harris), a hot yoga instructor, and her best friend from college, Matt (Matthew Wilkas), a gay comic book store employee, who, now in their thirties and single, decide to fulfill a youthful promise to have a child together the old-fashioned way. Matt, coping with the aftermath of a breakup with his ex-boyfriend Tom (Zach Shaffer), faces challenges in both his personal and professional life. The film delves into themes of friendship, loneliness, growing older, and the concept of chosen family, emphasizing that family is defined not just by blood but by choice.
