Grand Theft Auto

A top-down criminal action game developed by DMA Design, marking the beginning of the famous Grand Theft Auto series. The player controls a criminal performing jobs for various criminal organizations across three fictional cities inspired by real-world metropolises: Liberty City (New York), San Andreas (San Francisco), and Vice City (Miami). The gameplay revolves around freedom of action, allowing the player to steal cars, engage in shootouts, evade the police, or complete storyline missions. The game features a point system rewarding criminal actions, encouraging players to take risks for higher rewards. Despite its simple graphics and isometric perspective, the game gained attention for its mature content and open-ended gameplay.
