A reboot of the iconic open-world crime action series, developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver. The game is set in the fictional city of Santo Ileso, inspired by the American Southwest, where players take on the role of the future leader of the new Saints gang. Alongside three allies—Neenah, Eli, and Kevin—the protagonist builds a criminal empire, taking over territories and battling rival factions. The gameplay features dynamic gunfights, high-speed chases, absurd side activities, and extensive customization options for characters, weapons, and vehicles. Unlike its predecessors, this reboot shifts towards a more grounded yet still chaotic tone, removing the superpowers of Saints Row IV but retaining the series' signature humor and over-the-top action. The game received mixed reviews, with praise for its customization and open-world design, but criticism for its weak story, outdated mechanics, and technical issues.
