Saints Row: The Third

The third entry in the open-world crime action series developed by Volition and published by THQ shifts focus toward over-the-top action and absurd humor. Set in the new city of Steelport, the 3rd Street Saints—now a media empire—face off against a new threat: the criminal organization known as The Syndicate, as well as the S.T.A.G. special forces. The game features an extensive arsenal of weapons, extravagant vehicles, deep character and costume customization, and chaotic, ridiculous missions where players can, for example, rampage through the streets in a tank or cause mayhem with a giant purple bat. The entire campaign can be played in co-op mode, enhancing the fun and craziness. Saints Row: The Third was praised for its fast-paced gameplay, freedom of choice, and unique style that set it apart from other games in the genre. In 2020, an enhanced version called Saints Row: The Third Remastered was released with improved graphics and performance. The original game is available on Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, while the remaster was launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
