HACHIKO

A 2023 drama film directed by Xu Ang, serving as a Chinese adaptation of the well-known story of the loyal dog Hachiko. Set in the early 2000s in the Chinese city of Chongqing, university professor Chen Jingxiu (Feng Xiaogang) discovers a dirty and frightened puppy on the road. After Chen's unexpected death, Ba Tong continues to wait at the same spot for many years, showcasing incredible loyalty.
