High and Low

A 1963 Japanese crime thriller directed by Akira Kurosawa, based on Ed McBain's novel "King's Ransom." The story follows successful businessman Kingo Gondo, whose son is believed to have been kidnapped. However, it is soon discovered that the kidnappers mistakenly abducted his chauffeur’s son.
