Holby City​

A British medical drama television series created by Tony McHale and Mal Young, "Holby City" premiered on BBC One on January 12, 1999, and concluded on March 29, 2022, after 23 series and 1,102 episodes. As a spin-off from the established BBC medical drama "Casualty," the series focuses on the lives of medical and ancillary staff at the fictional Holby City Hospital, particularly in departments such as cardiothoracic surgery, gynecology, and acute assessment. The show delves into the professional and personal dramas of doctors, nurses, and patients, encompassing complex medical cases, ethical dilemmas, and interpersonal conflicts. In its first series, key characters include consultants Anton Meyer (George Irving) and Muriel McKendrick (Phyllis Logan), whose differing approaches to patient care create tension.
