Hotel Transylvania

An American animated comedy film released in 2012, produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, directed by Genndy Tartakovsky. The story centers on Count Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler), who has built the "Hotel Transylvania," a lavish resort for monsters to hide from the human world and relax in safety. Dracula raises his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) within the hotel's confines, shielding her from the outside world and hoping to keep her safe. On Mavis's 118th birthday, Dracula organizes a grand party, inviting his friends: Frankenstein (Kevin James) and his wife Eunice (Fran Drescher), the werewolf Wayne (Steve Buscemi) and his wife Wanda (Molly Shannon) along with their numerous offspring, the invisible man Griffin (David Spade), and the mummy Murray (CeeLo Green). Unexpectedly, a young human traveler named Jonathan (Andy Samberg) stumbles upon the hotel. To conceal Jonathan's human identity from the guests, Dracula disguises him as a monster and attempts to keep him away from Mavis. However, a mutual attraction develops between Mavis and Jonathan, causing Dracula concern and leading to a series of comedic events. The film explores themes of parental overprotection, prejudice, and acceptance of differences, illustrating how Dracula learns to let go of his daughter and embrace changes in his life.
