How to Train Your Dragon 2

A 2014 animated adventure film and the sequel to the highly successful How to Train Your Dragon (2010), directed by Dean DeBlois. The story takes place five years after the events of the first film. Berk has embraced a peaceful coexistence with dragons, and Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel / Alexander Khorlin) explores new lands alongside Toothless. During one of their journeys, they discover a hidden icy sanctuary filled with hundreds of dragons and encounter Hiccup’s long-lost mother, Valka (voiced by Cate Blanchett / Tatyana Shitova), who has dedicated her life to protecting the creatures. Meanwhile, a new threat arises in the form of Drago Bludvist (voiced by Djimon Hounsou / Andrey Yaroslavtsev), a ruthless warlord who seeks to dominate all dragons. Hiccup must step up as a leader to unite his people and their dragon allies to stop Drago and prove that peace is possible. The film was met with critical acclaim, became a box office success, and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature.
