Hunters

The 2020 American conspiracy drama television series created by David Weil is set in 1977 New York City and follows a diverse group of Nazi hunters who discover that numerous escaped SS officers are conspiring to establish a Fourth Reich in the United States. The protagonist, Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman), a young mathematics prodigy, joins the group after his grandmother's murder. The group's leader, Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino), is a charismatic and enigmatic figure with his own secrets. Other members include former MI6 agent Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany), master of disguise Lonny Flash (Josh Radnor), Holocaust survivors Murray and Mindy Markowitz (Saul Rubinek and Carol Kane), counterfeiting expert Roxy Jones (Tiffany Boone), Vietnam War veteran Joe Mizushima (Louis Ozawa), among others. Concurrently, FBI agent Millie Morris (Jerrika Hinton) investigates a murder linked to Nazis, leading her to uncover the conspiracy. The series blends elements of action, black comedy, and alternate history, exploring themes of justice, revenge, and morality. It premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 21, 2020, with the second and final season released on January 13, 2023.
