Jaws

A 1975 classic thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the novel of the same name by Peter Benchley. The story takes place in the small resort town of Amity, where a series of brutal attacks by a massive great white shark terrorizes the local beaches. Police Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider), marine biologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss), and shark hunter Quint (Robert Shaw) team up to track and kill the predator. However, the hunt turns into a deadly game where not everyone will survive. Jaws became a cinematic phenomenon, pioneering the concept of the "summer blockbuster" and setting new standards for thriller films. The movie won three Academy Awards, including Best Editing, Best Sound, and Best Original Score by John Williams.
