John Wick: Chapter 2

The 2017 American neo-noir action-thriller film directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad is a direct sequel to "John Wick" (2014) and the second installment in the "John Wick" franchise. Keanu Reeves reprises his role as John Wick, a former hitman forced back into the criminal underworld to fulfill a blood oath to crime lord Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio). Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Laurence Fishburne also appear, as do Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare, John Leguizamo, Franco Nero, and Bridget Moynahan. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised the choreography of the action sequences, visual style, and Reeves' performance. It grossed $174.3 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film in the franchise at that time.
