Lilo & Stitch

The 2002 American animated science fiction comedy-drama film, produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures, was directed and written by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, with Clark Spencer as producer. The story follows a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo Pelekai (voiced by Daveigh Chase), who lives on the island of Kauai with her older sister and guardian, Nani (Tia Carrere), after their parents' death. Gradually, through Lilo's love and devotion, Stitch begins to understand the meaning of family and the Hawaiian concept of "ohana," which means "family," and strives to protect his new loved ones from threats.
