An American television film from 1962, created as a pilot episode but not developed into a series. The story follows nine-year-old Amy (Debbie Megowan), who decides that her clumsy neighbor Arthur (Rickey Murray) is the perfect candidate for marriage. However, Arthur is preoccupied with his unsuccessful attempts to join the football team and pays little attention to her. Amy devises various clever schemes to help him succeed, hoping it will bring them closer. The film also features William Leslie, Shary Marshall, and Jack Nicholson in one of his early roles as a football coach. Filming took place at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and the producer was CBS Television Network. It is believed that the project was inspired by the popular cartoon series "Little Audrey".
