Remember the Titans​

The 2000 American biographical sports drama directed by Boaz Yakin, with a screenplay by Gregory Allen Howard, is based on the true events of 1971 in Alexandria, Virginia. The film portrays how African-American coach Herman Boone (Denzel Washington) was appointed head coach of the T.C. Williams High School football team following the integration of previously segregated schools. His appointment led to tensions, particularly with former head coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton), who agreed to stay on as assistant coach for the sake of his players.
