Sea Hunt

An American action-adventure television series that aired in syndication from 1958 to 1961, created by Ivan Tors. The main character, Mike Nelson (Lloyd Bridges), is a former U.S. Navy diver and member of the Coast Guard who works as a freelance diver, undertaking dangerous missions such as rescuing people, recovering sunken objects, and combating criminals. Storylines often involve rescuing pilots, children, sunken ships, and even nuclear warheads. Filming took place in various locations, including California, Florida, and the Bahamas. Underwater scenes were shot using studio tanks and on-location sites. The series became one of the most popular in the U.S., attracting up to 40 million viewers weekly.
