A first-person shooter developed by Climax Group and released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance. It serves as a spin-off of the Serious Sam series, adapted for the capabilities of a handheld console. Players once again take on the role of Sam "Serious" Stone, battling hordes of alien invaders sent by Mental while traveling through different historical eras. The gameplay retains the essence of the original series, offering fast-paced gunfights, numerous enemies, and a diverse arsenal of weapons, including signature shotguns, rocket launchers, and plasma guns. However, due to hardware limitations, the game features simplified graphics, smaller levels, and less massive battles compared to its PC counterparts. Despite these constraints, Serious Sam Advance delivers classic arcade action with a high-speed pace, preserving the series' signature atmosphere and style in a portable format.
