Stars and Bars

The 1988 American comedy directed by Pat O'Connor, based on William Boyd's novel and screenplay, follows British art expert Henderson Dores (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he travels from New York to Georgia to acquire a rare Renoir painting from eccentric Southerner Loomis Gage (Harry Dean Stanton).
