Sweet November

A 2001 American romantic drama film directed by Pat O'Connor. The movie is a remake of the 1968 film of the same name and tells a touching love story between two completely different people. Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves) is a successful yet emotionally distant advertising executive from San Francisco, entirely focused on his career and unable to form deep emotional connections. His life changes after a chance encounter with Sara Deever (Charlize Theron), a free-spirited and lively woman with an unconventional approach to life. Sara offers Nelson an unusual proposition — to spend one month, November, together with no strings attached. During this time, she promises to change his perspective on life and teach him to embrace joy. Initially skeptical, Nelson eventually agrees and moves in with Sara. As the month progresses, he begins to transform, learning to appreciate the simple pleasures of life and becoming more compassionate and open. A deep love blossoms between them, but Nelson soon discovers the heartbreaking truth — Sara is terminally ill and has chosen to forego treatment, opting instead to live her remaining days to the fullest.
