The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson: The Tiger Hun

A 1980 detective film directed by Igor Maslennikov, the third part of the Sherlock Holmes series starring Vasily Livanov and Vitaly Solomin. The plot is based on Arthur Conan Doyle's stories "The Empty House" and "The Second Stain." After Sherlock Holmes (Vasily Livanov) disappears during a confrontation with Professor Moriarty (Viktor Yevgrafov) at the Reichenbach Falls, Dr. Watson (Vitaly Solomin) believes his friend is dead. However, three years later, Holmes unexpectedly returns to London, revealing that he faked his death to evade his enemies. Together with Watson, he devises a plan to capture Colonel Moran (Boris Klyuev), Moriarty's right-hand man, who is planning to assassinate Lord Cunningham. Additionally, Holmes and Watson investigate the mysterious disappearance of a secret document that could trigger an international conflict.
